What’s it like to care for animals at Woodland Park Zoo? It’s more complicated than you might think! Animal keepers have to understand the basic needs of the animals they care for, but they also help each animal thrive by getting to know the personalities and preferences of each animal in their care. You’ll learn how keepers enrich animal lives, and how you can better the lives of animals around you!

Call of the Wild

Chirp, Tweet, Snort, Snog, Baaa, Hiss, Bray, Squawk, Bark and all other sorts of voices will join you when you invite a Woodland Park Zoo animal to your virtual meeting, gathering or happy hour. Along with our animal, a member of our animal care team will be on the line to translate for our furry, feathered, and scaly pals.
